IAP GmbH, from Hamburg in Germany, are a major Progress partner, and have developed various tools for application in Progress environments. this is bundled as Tools4Progress. They are also a DWP partner and have extended their ERD tool PCase to fully integrate with DWP.

The main products are:

PCase   

Very powerful ERD program. Entirely written in Progress and seamlessly integrating design, reverse-engineering and updating of Progress databases. Reporting types for auto documentation includes XML and Word (RTF).

Viper   

Viper's goal is to allow the printing capabilities of windows systems to be used inside Progress, while retaining the transparency and controllability of the printing process for the program.

XCheck   

is a tool to analyze log files and to observe your system. This tool is usable on Windows (NT/2000/XP) and UNIX (AIX/LINUX) platforms. The status of Progress databases, Webspeed brokers and webservers can be checked. It can verify that your Progress nameserver is up and running. The free space in operating system directories or in Progress databases can be controlled. The user/admin can be notified by e-mail or http.
